Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Shai CLI ("Shai", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Shai is a platform for sharing and discovering AI tool configurations. The Service includes the shaicli.dev website and the Shai command-line tool. We provide tools to publish, discover, and install configurations for AI development tools.

Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload ("User Content"). By publishing content on Shai, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your public configurations.

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that:

  • You own or have the right to share the content
  • Your content does not violate any laws or these Terms
  • Your content does not infringe on others' rights

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Publish content containing secrets, credentials, or sensitive data

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and code (excluding User Content), is owned by Shai and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our permission.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., GitHub). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USER CONTENT IS PROVIDED BY USERS AND WE DO NOT ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE ITS ACCURACY OR SAFETY.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shai and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
